Urogynaecology & Perinatal
Physiotherapy

We provide Urogynaecology Physiotherapy for anyone experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction at any stage of life or during pregnancy and after birth (perinatal).

This includes support for urinary leakage, frequent urges to empty the bladder, a vaginal bulge or heaviness, constipation, bowel leakage or difficulty controlling wind, and pain around the vulva or vagina.

We also treat individuals with weak or overactive pelvic floor muscles, offering personalised care to help restore comfort, function, and confidence.

Or perhaps you are unsure of how to squeeze your pelvic floor muscles effectively. We're here to help...

MSK Perinatal
Physiotherapy

We offer musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy for those during and after pregnancy, addressing common physical challenges in the perinatal period.

This includes treatment for postnatal tummy muscle separation (diastasis recti), pregnancy and postnatal-related pelvic girdle pain, and pregnancy-related back pain.

Our goal is to support your recovery and help you move with greater ease and confidence throughout your perinatal journey.

We also offer a 'Postnatal Physiotherapy package' appointment which includes a Urogynaecology Physiotherapy assessment in addition to a tummy muscle assessment for diastasis recti abdominus. This is priced at £90 and includes a 1 hour and 30 minute session.

The vaginal and anorectal examinations can help guide and enhance your treatment. It is essential to note that these examinations are always conducted with your consent, ensuring that you feel respected and dignified throughout the assessment. They are entirely optional. If you have any questions regarding this please contact us and we'll happily discuss the assessments in further detail with you.

Please note we are unable to offer an internal vaginal and / or anorectal examination if you are pregnant or less than 6 weeks post birth. We are still able to offer an external assessment if opted and provide you with an appropriate treatment plan.
